Aloe-Vera does Wonders on Skin !

I’ve always believed that skin has a great role to play in making foundation of true beauty. We all desire to have a spotless fair skin. If you have a good skin then no need to use beauty products every day.

Worldwide cosmetics companies are encashing on this desire and flooding our markets with skin lightening products. Some gives decent results, and others are not up to the mark. But home remedies are always best option for skin problems. Home remedies takes a little time, but the result is amazing to me. Just take an example Lime or lemon which is a popular home remedy for acne (pimples) and also used as a skin lightened to reduce acne scars and to retain natural skin color. Same way there is different ways to lighten skin naturally. While the result are not dramatic change but the difference is still quite noticeable.

Long time ago, I wrote a post about lemon juice and its uses to remove dark spots on skin.
Today, I am talking about one of my favorite ingredient which I defiantly use twice or thrice a week. This is Aloe-Vera. Its anti inflammatory properties make it an excellent natural remedy for acne. It can restore the original pigment of your skin and reduces scars and blemishes significantly. It is also great skin lightener. Aloe-Vera is a powerful skin remedy.

Here I am going to share with you a very easy to use Aloe-Vera. There are the three ways:

1. First of all you can use only the transparent gel like liquid oozing which is inside the aloe. To use as a mask, simply cut a piece of the plant. Rub the gel on your freshly washed face and allow drying. You can rinse your face once dry or leave it on like a moisturizer (personally, I prefer to leave it on and usually do this at night).

It acts as a protective layer on the skin and helps replenish its moisture. When the skin is hydrated, then it will recover faster from the sunburn.

2.  Aloe is a perfect alternative to cosmetics remover products. Refrigerated 2 tsp of fresh Aloe-Vera gel with ½ tsp of olive oil soaked in cotton balls and use it for makeup remover. Only refrigerated Aloe Vera gel also provide a great compress for tired, puffy eyes.

3. Simply cut one Aloe-Vera leaf into half and scrape out the gel. Put the gel in the blender with rose water and blend till there are no lumps left in the juice. Next, take your body lotion of choice and pour half of the body lotion and half of the Aloe-Vera juice into a container and mix very well. Make this lotion for a week. It will be work as an amazing body lotion.
