DIY Watermelon Skin Tonic For Summer

Who doesn’t enjoy a slice of watermelon during the Summer? Watermelon is not only a delicious summer fruit but also it works as a great skin toner ingredient. Watermelon can act as an exfoliant and will cleanse and tone your skin as well. Even watermelon has naturally hydrating properties which will help to restore skin moisture if it is dry or tired.

So today's post I am sharing with you a very easy DIY toner or you can say skin tonic for the Summer with a few other ingredients and I am sure which are also available in the kitchen. The same toner or tonic you can drink as a summer drink.

Let’s start the recipe!

You’ll need:
  • 4 to 5 slices of  watermelon
  • 6 to 7 slices of cucumber
  • 1 spoon of curd
  • spoon of honey
What to do:
  1. Puree the watermelon and cucumber in a blender, strain and collect the juice
  2. Pour this juice  into a small bowl and mix it well
  3. Now add curd and honey with juice and again mix it well
  4. Apply the mixture to your skin mainly open areas of your body and let it sit for 20 to 26 minutes

Result:

This skin tonic is one of the best treatment for the tanned skin. It also helps to keep your skin hydrated. If your skin has lost its brightness then you must try this out. It is very useful for removing blemishes on the skin. Apply this tonic at least four to five times in a week. This is for all skin types. It will help to repair your skin.

I hope you will give a try on this Tonic and tell me what you think!
