Experience:

I am reviewing a 30 ml sample product. I've been using this oil for more than a year. The Olemessa sample product comes in a good quality plastic bottle that is secure with a pink colored screw cap. The bottle has a big mouth and it is sealed with a foil plastic that protects the product inside. Once you remove the entire foil plastic, it becomes more difficult to control the amount of oil to dispense. So I did not remove the foil plastic, I just make some holes in the top of the cover. And it makes the packaging leakage proof and no scope for wastage.

It has a pale yellowish color inside the bottle but when you pour into your hands, it looks colorless. It has a very mild scent.

I am a huge fan of body oils. I must admit that I like to experiment with different types of oils. The consistency of the oil is a bit heavy than other massage or regular oils but it is easy to spread and it sinks into the skin within a few minutes of massaging. The texture of the oil is very smooth and silky. Most of the time I use it after the shower when my skin is damp. I pour some oil on my palms and gently massage it into the skin. It spreads well on the skin and immediately leaves a nice mild refreshing scent. After using this product, my skin feels so soft and smooth; the skin turns silky in touch and feels really amazing.

When I was pregnant, like many other women I was plagued with itchy skin, especially on my belly. During that period I decided to try this massage oil. It's a bit thick consistency felt really moisturizing and left my skin nice and smooth.

Olemessa massage oil is a blend of natural oils like sunflower oil, and olive oil. This oil has a soothing and relaxing effect. It is enriched with vitamins. It prevents damage from free radicals and improves skin condition. You can also use this oil for your baby. Keep in mind that don't put this oil ( or any other oils) in your baby's nose, eyes, navel, or ears. Although it is a common practice in India, putting oil in these places can be harmful and lead to infections. Anyway, it is also an effective option for adults with dry or sensitive skin.

Olemessa massage oil comes in two packs: 100 mL and 200 mL

Pros:

  • My favorite part about this product is the ingredient list
  • It made my skin feel soft and luxurious
  • It not irritating my skin and my baby's skin
  • It hydrates skin properly
  • Very good massage oil for babies
  • It does not have any artificial fragrance
  • This oil helps to keep my body skin nourish, supple, and healthy
  • It makes skin feel silky smooth
  • Can be used at any time of the day
  • The moisturizing effect stays for a long time
  • A little bit goes a long way
  • You can use this oil during pregnancy as a massage oil
  • Without mineral oil and perfumes
  • Affordable price
Cons:

Because of its consistency, you need to few minutes of massaging to spread and it sinks into the skin. Otherwise, I could not find anything to dislike as a product.

Overall, Olemessa Massage Oil is mineral-free oil that leaves my skin so soft and moisturized. It’s very gentle on the skin and the moisture from the oil lasts the entire day! I use this after every shower and it helps to improve my structure of the dry skin. I definitely recommend this product to anyone struggling with keeping moisture in their skin. Excellent investment here!

BALM Rating: 4.95/5

P.S: If you want to use this oil for your baby just before use test the oil on a patch of your baby's skin the first time you make it. Watch that area for at least 24 hours to see if your baby reacts to any ingredients in the oil. If there is any redness, irritation, or dryness, do not use that oil for your baby's massage, and consult your doctor.
