Include Strawberries in your Daily Diet

We all the girls are very much conscious of our skin and hair. We apply various creams, homemade beauty recipes etc for good skin and beautiful hair. But your diet has a big impact on skin and hair care. There are all kinds of things that you should seek out and conversely avoid. But we forget about proper diet.  If the diet is correct, than you don’t have to think about your skin or hair. So the best part of the diet to include any seasonal fruits. 

Every day I try to eat at least one seasonal fruit.  This time I keep strawberry in my diet. We all know strawberries are delicious, but they are also nutritious, and ideally should be a part of everyone's daily diet. You'll enjoy some health advantages by eating strawberries as well as beauty advantages too. The best part is strawberries are one of the most delicious fruits and I loved it.

Why should you take Strawberries in Diet?

Strawberries contain a range of nutrients, with vitamin C heading the group. They also contain significant levels of phytonutrients and antioxidants, which fight free radicals. These antioxidant properties are believed to be linked to what makes the strawberry bright red.

So what are these weird free radicals? Free radicals are elements that can damage cells, and they are thought to contribute to the causes of many kinds of cancer.

In addition to vitamin C, strawberries also provide an excellent source of vitamin K and manganese, as well as folic acid, potassium, riboflavin, vitamin B5, vitamin B6, copper, magnesium, and omega-3 fatty acids.

Strawberry is low in calories and contains a high amount of water so it is very filling.

  •  Improve immune system : Strawberries are rich in vitamin C and are good for the immune system of the body. They can protect you from infections so make sure to consume the fruit during the season.

  • Good for skin : Strawberries are a natural source of salicylic acid, which is a renowned fighter against acne. Strawberries are packed with antioxidants and vitamin C which slow down the ageing process.

  • Cancer prevention properties : As mentioned before, strawberries are rich in antioxidants, which can also help in preventing cancer.

Delicious Ways to Add Strawberries to Your Anti Inflammatory Diet
  • Muddle 2-3 strawberries in a glass, and add sparkling water for a refreshing summer drink. Bonus - you're hydrating while obtaining a boost of polyphenols & vitamin C.
  • Try this marinade: Mix one cup of sliced strawberries, 1/4 cup olive oil, and 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar. Use marinade on salmon, chicken. Your taste buds will be both surprised & pleased! 
  • I usually use a blender to make a smoothie with some fresh strawberries, fat-free yogurt, skim milk and protein powder. It’s really yummy!
  • Keep cool with this summer treat: Add 1/2 cup each of  Yogurt, strawberries, spinach, and almond milk to blender. Add 1 cup ice, and blend until smooth. 
  • You can also make a delicious fruit salad with strawberries.

So, adding fresh strawberries to your diet, whether they are in salads, smoothies, or on their, is a great way to get the servings of fruit you need for a well-rounded body and  a healthy immune system. In short, eating healthily will result in healthy looking skin and vice versa.
