Those who are following my
blog for quite some time know that I am always like to make homemade skin care
recipes which are very easily available in kitchen stuffs. So today let me
share with you my recent face mask, which I made with COFFEE!
It’s
actually an ideal mask for all skin types – with a few add-ins
depending on your skin concerns. Coffee helps to cleanse, exfoliate and
moisturize the skin making it an excellent face mask. The anti oxidant in
coffee helps to firm and tighten the skin. Coffee mask can brighten
your complexion too.
This is the
one of the very easy mask that you like most – it’s simple, fast and
effective.
What you’ll
need:
2 tsp ground
coffee beans (you can grind your own or buy pre-ground)
1 tsp honey
1 tsp fresh
Aloe-Vera Gel
1 tsp lemon juice
Directions:
In a bowl, mix the ground coffee beans with honey. Add in
the Aloe-Vera gel and lemon juice; stir until it creates a paste. Apply to skin
and let dry (up to 20 minutes). while wash off the mask slowly massage
the mask to your skin. It works further as an exfoliator. Don't massage to
hard if you have sensitive skin. Store any extras in the
fridge for up to 3 days. The mask rinses off very easily and does not
leave any brown color on skin, but you may smell a bit like coffee!
Benefits of the coffee face mask:
- Full of antioxidants that fight the free radicals in skin cells
- The mask promotes blood circulation and making your skin look its best.
- Diminish dark under eye circles, reduces blood build up under eyes
