How to Apply Tea Tree Oil to Face
Previously when I have
reviewed on Khadi Tea-tree Essential Oil, I mentioned that how
it could benefit on my acne skin. So today I am going to share with you
some very easy use of this oil.
Tea tree oil is very beneficial natural remedy to cure pimples and many others skin problems. It acts as a disinfectant and soothes your skin. Moreover, it does not remove natural oils from your skin.

1. Apply to Pimples Directly
To cure acne effectively and
naturally you can directly apply tea tree oil to your pimples on face.
Take a cotton bud or pad pour a couple of drops of tea tree oil on it. Dab the tea tree oil gently on the affected area. Better leave overnight or for a couple of hours. Take care to always clean and dry your skin before applying tea tree oil.

2. Use the Oil as a Spot
Treatment
You can also use tea tree oil
in a spot treatment made at home.
Mix a couple of drops of tea
tree oil into Aloe-Vera gel or honey. Apply this mixture on to the pimple.
Everyday use this solution for spot treatment.
3. Add It to Facial Masks
You can add a few drops of tea
tree oil to your homemade face masks. It helps in killing bacteria and
drying out pimples. Some face mask recipes that you can make using tea tree oil
are:
Mask I
Take 2 tbsp. of clay
powder and mix in it 3-4 drops of tea tree oil. Add rose water to form a paste
and apply it evenly over your face and neck area. Leave for 20 minutes. Rinse
with lukewarm water and dry.
Mask II
Mix 1 tsp. of olive oil with 3
drops of tea tree oil and stir in finely chopped tomato in this blend. Mash the
mixture to form a puree and apply the mask on face. Leave it for 10 minutes.
Rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry.
Mask III
Take ¼ cup of
plain yogurt and add 5 drops of tea tree oil. Apply this mixture on
face. Leave for 15-20 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry.
Mask IV
Take 1 tsp. of honey , 1/2
tsp. lemon juice and mix in 3-4 drops of tea tree oil. Apply the mask
on clean face for 20 minutes. Rinse with water.
Mask V
2 tbsp of Turmeric
or sandalwood powder 2 tbsp of rose water and 3-4 drops of tea
tree oil. Mix the ingredients and make a paste with creamy consistency.
Apply this cream on your face and massage in circular motion. Leave for 15
minutes then wash it off with water.
4. Use It in Facial Scrub
You can make effective face
scrub that fights acne using tea tree oil.
Facial Scrub I
Mix ½ cup of sugar, 1 tbsp. of honey, ¼ cup of
olive oil and 10 drops of tea tree oil in a small bowl.Gently scrub your
face with this mixture for approximately 3-6 minutes. Then rinse with lukewarm
water.
This facial scrub is very
effective for people suffering from mild to medium acne breakouts.
Facial Scrub II
1/2 cup coconut oil, 1/4 cup sugar and 10 drops tea
tree essential oil. Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Massage into
your face with circular motions for 30 seconds. Leave this for 10 minutes on
face. Rinse and pat dry.
5. Mix It with Cleanser and
Moisturizer
you can add a few drops
of tea tree oil to the moisturizer and cleanser you use daily.
6. Use tea tree oil to
remove makeup
For normal to dry skin, try
mixing 1/4 cup jojoba oil or olive oil with 10 drops of tea tree oil in a
4-ounce sterilized glass jar with a tight-fitting lid and shake until blended.
Store in a cool, dark place. Use this solution to remove makeup. Rinse
well with warm water and follow with a toner.
*** When used to treat
infections and skin conditions, the oil can be applied directly to the skin in
full strength or diluted.
