Today I’ll be showing you how
to get brighter, healthier skin in summer with using a simple ingredient:
Tomato. Tomatoes are very good to eat during the summers. They have tan removal properties. As we know Tomatoes are rich in anti oxidants and contain lycopene which help protect skin against UV damage and also help to reduce fine lines and
wrinkles, which makes it great for anti-aging. Tomatoes can help to shrink
pores, heal acne, soothe sunburns and burns, and achieve
glowing skin. Tomato one of my favorite ingredient for removing tan and
make skin bright. Its
keep my skin fresh and younger all-time.
What you’ll need:
- A nice
ripe tomato.
- sugar
(for the scrub)
Direction:
- Take 1 tomato
- Cut off the top not too thin (As you will use the head as the scrubber)
- Take a small bowl & pour a decent amount of sugar.
- Take the tomato head (the part which you cut), dip it into the sugar.
- Gently scrub all over your clean face in a circular motion.
- After scrubbing the goodness of the tomato, leave it on your skin for 15-20 minutes as a mask , then rinse away with cold water!
- Remember to apply your moisturizer after this tomato scrub!
You can also use it on your body as a summer body scrub to get rid of any
sun tan or uneven skin.
It is also safe for people who are having acne skin!
You can use this scrub about 2 to 3 times in a week
Sometime, I apply Tomato pulp on my skin or tan areas. It is also works well. For this, take 1-2 tomatoes and peel off its skin and separate its pulp in a bowl. Apply this pulp on the tan areas. Leave it for about 10-15 minutes. Wash off with plan water. Repeat this for a week.

Tips to prevent sun tan
- Wear light clothes in summer and keep the entire body covered
especially legs and arms.
- Apply a
good sunscreen to keep the skin protected. Apply it half an hour before
you are going to sun exposure.
- Sun glasses, hats and other accessories must be used.
- Apply a mixture of cold milk and ice on the face. Keep it for 15-20
minutes and wash it off before going out.
- Water and other juices must be consumed in plenty to avoid dehydration.
