DIY : Face Pack for Dry Skin

Today, I am sharing with you a very simple homemade face pack for dry skin. The main purpose of any home treatment for dry skin is to rehydrate and moisturize your skin. You'll find so many recipes and ingredients that can help you to get your smooth skin back and make it feel hydrated, fresh, soft and glowing.There are a few natural ingredients you can play around with in your face mask for dry skin recipes. Like banana, rich in vitamins and minerals, banana nourishes regenerates and firms the skin that becomes soft, smooth and generously moisturized.

So, in today’s recipe banana is my main ingredient. Next one is honey, which is the queen of skincare ingredients. It locks moisture inside the skin. Its antioxidant properties protect skin against damage from the sun and environments we come in contact with. It fights infection without irritating your skin. And lemon exfoliates the affected area while reducing the color of dark spot and scarring.

How to make this pack:
  1. Mash a half banana with 1 tsp. of honey
  2. Add 2 tsp of  fresh lemon juice
  3. Mix until you get a smooth paste
  4. Gently massage the paste with your index and middle fingertips on a clean face, avoiding the eye area. Make sure to remove any makeup, moisturizer, sunscreen, etc on face before applying
  5. Leave the mask on for about 15 – 20 minutes. Then rinse off with warm water
  6. Skin immediately feels smooth and radiate after the rinse off.

 This facial mask is perfect for dealing with dry skin and dark spots. Use it twice or 3 times a week will be sufficient.
