Beauty Tips for Dry and Dull Skin

There are four types of skin-normal, oily, dry and sensitive and each type of skin has its own complications. Having a dry skin means experiencing tightness due to lack of moisture and a need for a proper lubricant to re-hydrate it. My skin type is also dry. So I have to take care of my skin on a regular basis. Many home remedies can help improve your dry flaky skin on face. 

I use variety of home-made recipes for my skin along with proper Miniaturization. Some of these homemade recipes works wonder on skin.  For example oatmeal face mask. Oatmeal is one of my favorite beauty DIY ingredients, and I use it in a variety of ways. I love using this mask on dry patches on my body too, and it's great for all skin types, including sensitive skin. Oatmeal, honey and rose water, combination of these three ingredients make a cool face pack for dry skin.  Here are some other remedies can help improve your dry flaky skin on face.

Banana and Yogurt

Mash a small ripe banana, add 1 tbsp of Yogurt and mix them well. Then   massage your face and neck in a circular motion with this pack. Leave for 15 minutes and then wash off.

Avocado and Honey

Just mix a half cup of honey with half a mashed avocado, leaves the mixture on for 15 minutes, and then rinse off. Avocado and honey combine their qualities of being a good source of sterol in and humectants to treat the misery brought on by having a dry skin.

Egg and Olive oil

Mix one egg yolk with 1 teaspoon of olive oil and a few drops of lime juice. Apply the mixture to your face every morning for 15 minutes before you take a bath.

Yogurt and honey

1 tbsp of Yogurt mix with 1 tbsp of honey and apply the mixture on your face, hands and legs and gently massaging it into your skin. Leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes and then take a bath or shower. Honey is considered one of the best natural moisturizers loaded with antioxidant, antimicrobial, and humectant properties. Whereas Yogurt is an excellent skin-hydrating agent. Also, its lactic acid content helps get rid of any germs or bacteria that may cause dryness or itchiness.

Oil cleansing

Oil cleansing is one of the simple and effective beauty tips for dry skin. It cleanses skin without disturbing the natural skin’s oils. Hope you like to read Clean your face naturally with oil

Moisturizing your skin

Yes it's a very important part of any skin care regime. Moisturizing your skin regularly at day and  night with right  products which help to maintains the moisture balance in the skin and keeps dry skin soft and healthy every day. 

And Finally,  Drink plenty of water throughout the day to increase moisture in dry skin.
