An Effective Face Mask for Dry Skin

Today, I am going to share with you a very effective face mask for dry skin. The mask, with just a few simple ingredients, leaves your skin soft, refreshed and bright! 

Ingredients :

1. 4 tbs coconut milk 
2. 2 tbs besan (gram flour)
3. 1 tbs honey 

Directions : 

1. Mix all of your ingredients together and make a medium consistency paste 
2. Wash your face as you normally would with your chosen face wash, then pat dry
3. After wash your face, apply thin layer of coconut milk with a cotton ball 
4. Two minutes later, apply the mask on the face and rub in gently with fingertips for about 20 to 30 seconds
5. Let sit for up to 20 minutes
6. Rinse off and follow with your favorite moisturizer

Benefits of the ingredients :

• Coconut Milk 

Coconut milk has high levels of Vitamin C which helps maintain elasticity and flexibility of skin. It is also rich in copper, and prevents wrinkles, sagging skin and age spots. 

• Besan or gram flour 

Gram flour is used to improve skin tone. It has an exfoliating property. But to achieve these effects combine gram flour with other natural ingredients.  

• Honey

Honey is naturally antibacterial and is wonderfully cleansing, and also is good for tightening your skin.

Store any leftover mask in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 to 3 days. Hope you love it. Let me know if you try it!
