Nykaa Paintstix Bombshell Berry (09) | Review and Swatch
When it comes to lipsticks, Red and Pink shades are very common. You can never go wrong with these shades. But there are few shades which are not for faint heart people. My mom’s friend (Mishra Aunty) loves wearing such shades. She looks very pretty in such unique shades. I also got inspired by her and added a few out of the box shades of lipsticks in my vanity. Bombshell Berry of Nykaa Paintstix is also one of them.

My experience with Nykaa Paintstix Bombshell Berry:
This PaintStix comes in a pink-colored rectangular shape cardboard box on which all the required details are printed. The actual product comes in a thin bullet packaging which has a color-coded cap. A label is also displayed at the bottom which specifies shade code. The packaging of this Paintstix resembles the Mac Liptensity lipsticks. The packaging is simple but at the same time sturdy and travel friendly.
It is a rich burgundy red with warm brown undertones shade. Definitely not a regular, I mean not suitable for the workplace. However, you can carry it for your evening look. It is super pigmented and one or a maximum of two swipes are required to get the opaque coverage. If you have pigmented lips then it covers them up efficiently. I am pretty impressed with the formula; it is amazingly soft and creamy. It is a creamy matte lipstick so the formula is a mix of creamy and hydrating one that gives a satiny or velvety matte finish.
It has decent staying power (not a 24 hrs formula); with heavy meals and drinks, it survives for 4 to 5 hours on my lips. After that, it starts fading and leaving behind a beautiful tint. The formula doesn’t bleed or smudge it holds on to lips without flaking or drying. It is a super gorgeous shade for daily routine. The only problem I felt is the flat top applicator. It is very difficult to control lipstick from coming outside the lips while applying. This comes as a disappointment.
Overall, this Paintstix is a decent product, But I won’t repurchase it as there are many lipsticks under this range. Definitely, I would like to give a try out new options.
