Under-eye dark circles are a beauty nightmare. Dark circles or discoloration beneath the eyes and upper lids can represent some serious health problems. Many people struggle with this common beauty problem. So if you are having this problem try to find out why? Check your vitamin B12 level. Try to have an adequate quantity of water, enough sleep, minimize the time if you are using a computer or mobile phone. Dark circles can be a hereditary problem and try not to rub your eyes as it may break the blood vessels under the eyes which leads to discoloration. 



I have a very deep dark circle or you can say pigmented eyelids. I have tried almost every eye cream, serums, packs but most of them reduced wrinkles and puffy bags under eyes but not reduced dark circles. I just wasted lots of money buying those high-end products. At last, I opted for natural ingredients that are easily available in our kitchen. But as the pack is entirely made up of natural ingredients, it will need a minimum of 1 month of regular use to show results.

CURD    
POTATO JUICE    
TOMATO  PUREE      
CUCUMBER JUICE        
COFFEE POWDER     
GREEN TEA LEAF    
TURMERIC

Procedure:

Take 1 teaspoon of Curd in a small bowl. Grate a potato. Squeeze 1 teaspoon of juice from it. Blend a tomato. Take 1 teaspoon of tomato puree. Grate a half cucumber and squeeze out 1 teaspoon of juice from it. I used an entire 2 rupees Nescafe sachet. Any brand can be used. Take one spoon of green tea leaf and put it in warm water for 2 hrs. Then take only 1 teaspoon of leaves( not the tea, only leaves). I used raw turmeric juice if it is not available you can use a pinch of turmeric powder that we use in our food.

How to Use:

Mix all the ingredients together to make a smooth paste. Keep it in the refrigerator to chill. As chilled mask will soothe the tired eyes.  Apply over and under the eyelids. If you have pigmentation on your face you can use the pack 3/4 times a week. Keep it for 20 minutes. Wash with cold water and then apply light moisturizer all over the face if required.

POTATO JUICE 

It is loaded with vitamin C and B COMPLEX. It works as a skin brightening agent.

TOMATO PUREE

Slightly acidic in nature, it contains Lycopene which acts as antioxidants that can bring glow from any dull skin. 

CUCUMBER JUICE

It reduces swelling and puffiness, soothes the skin, and also provides a base of hydration to tired and thirsty skin.

COFFEE POWDER

Coffee helps to tighten the skin and also acts as an exfoliator.

GREEN TEA LEAF

It is full of antioxidants which helps in reducing discoloration and soothes tired skin.

TURMERIC

It has anti-inflammatory products that make skin bright and glowing. It also protects against sun damage and aging.
