Top 3 Lip Balms For Dry Lips

I really envy those who have nice plum lips! I am gifted with extremely dry and chapped lips, no matter what season it be, or what extra step of care I take, nothing really helps its state. And I swear, it's very frustrating to even find the right intensely moisturizing lip balm for such lips too. I seriously lost count as to how many lip balms I have tried to find the right one, and in the end, thankfully I have come across these three lip balms which I give me the right amount of nourishment for my super dry lips. So let me share my opinion about those three with you all:

Sage Apothecary Strawberry Lip Balm

This was the lip balm that I came across at that stage when I was tired of trying out several lip balms and fed up with the majority. This one came as a boon! Not that I had much expectation on it when I gave it a shot, but after using it, I am completely loving this!! It comes in a small fibre tub that has a golden-colored lid. I have been using the strawberry variant and it smells of strawberry too (not a very strong smell, has a nice mild smell).

It is not very thick that it would become difficult to apply but just has the right consistency. It is super nourishing for the lips, but completely non-greasy. Also what I liked the most about this one is that, unlike many other lip balms, it is very lightweight and also doesn’t need a very frequent re-application. Once applied, it keeps lips moisturized for good 5-6 hours, which is great considering the dessert dry state of my lips!

Price: Rs. 299/- (many times it's available at Rs. 250/-)
Quantity: 8gm

My rating: 4.8/5

I would definitely recommend you guys give this a try if you have extremely dry lips.
(The only thing I didn’t like about this one is that I like lip balms in a roll-in kind of format, that’s easy to apply and also much more hygienic than tub)

NIVEA Lip Balm, Essential Care

This is the one which my mom has been loving for a long time now and I recently gave this a try. Though it is a bit greasy, it is intensely moisturizing and is very very well efficient in repairing my dry lips. I have used its tinted variants too, but I find this one more moisturizing and suitable for dry lips. Also, it is very affordable!

This one isn’t tinted, has a very very mild nice smell, and comes in a roll-on form. I use this at night before going to bed and this helps keep my lips soft and non-dry till morning, which is amazing!

Price: Rs. 140/- (many a time it is available at Rs. 98/-)
Quantity: 4.8gm

It is a bit greasy, but also lightweight and intensely moisturizing. Preferably use this one when you are indoors.

Arata Cocoa Butter Lemon Lip Balm

I use this lip balm every night. It is chemical-free and plant-based so we need not worry about skin damage. Arata Cocoa Butter Lemon Lip Balm is formulated to give the right amount of moisture balance and keep your lips hydrated. The combination of natural ingredients and oils helps to heal chapped lips and prevent moisture loss.

The balm is non-greasy and has a buttery smooth texture. It has a refreshing lemony and minty fragrance that stays long after applying. This lip balm can be used in all seasons.
