Review // Biotique Bio Carrot Seed Anti-Aging After Bath Body oil

Throughout the day I have apply oil 3 to 4 times, especially after bath and at night. Let’s see how this oil works on my dry skin.

Experience:

Those who follow my blog regularly, they know that I have weakness about oils. So whenever I go for shopping definitely I buy one or two oils. Biotique Bio Carrot Seed oil attracted me because of its interesting to sound Carrot Seed  Anti-Ageing formula and list of natural ingredients. As we know Biotique products claims it’s made with ayurvedic ingredients. There is no worry about the quality of the product.

When I first tried this product I was fall in love with the fragrance. The aroma of the oil gives a very relaxing feeling. I excitedly offered my husband the oil to try! He also loved the aroma.

The oil has medium consistency and it sinks into the skin within few minutes of massaging after a shower. It has a pale yellowish color but when you pour into your hands, it looks colorless.
Most of the time I use it after a shower when my skin is damp. I pour some oil on my palms and gently massage it into the skin. It spreads well on the skin and immediately leaving a nice mild refreshing scent.

I've been using this oil for more than a month. But I think it is not moisturizing enough on my skin in this winter season. The skin becomes dry again in 2 to 3 hours. So I have followed up with two more oils which are Him-Guard Body Oil With Italian Olive Oil and Figaro Olive Oil. Honestly, the oil does not keeps my skin soft and supplies enough during this cold weather. I think this oil can work well for me in other seasons like Spring or Summer. So I'm thinking I'll keep a little bit of oil for summer. However, I feel if your skin is normal to combination or oily then it is perfect for you in cold season. I'm sure it will give your skin moisturized decently.

Pros of Biotique Bio Carrot Seed Anti-Aging after Bath Body oil
  • Impressive list of natural ingredients
  • Gets easily absorbed into the skin
  • It not irritating my skin
  • It does not have any artificial fragrance
  • It does not stain clothes
  • Affordable price
  • Travel friendly packaging
Cons of Biotique Bio Carrot Seed Anti-Aging after Bath Body oil
  • It is not enough for dry skin people
  • It does not hydrated skin properly
  • The moisturizing effect stays for up to 2 to 3 hours (in my case)
Overall, it is not enough for dry skin in winter. But the results may vary depending on your skin type.  Well, maybe I shall not buy this oil again. Biotique has a various range of body oils, so next time I shall go for other oils.  I recommended it for, normal, combination and oily skin beauties.
