7 Lip-care Products for Your Winter Rescue

Are you like me whose lips become Sahara desert in winters? I can’t explain how much I suffer from dry chapped lips if I do not get hold of the right lip-care product in winter. And honestly, no matter summer or winter, my lips are always thirsty for some thick layer of moisturizer. That is when I started listing out those lip-care products, which literally works for me, and this happened a long time back. Now that I have a full collated list of products that work for dry chapped lips, I thought why not put it forth to all of your as well this winter. Of course, winter is that time of the year when lips, skin everything demands a bit of extra attention, keeping that in mind, I have listed down here 7 such lip-care products which will work for all.

Please note, these lip-care products might or might not address your pigmented lips or dark lips (if you have such), but rather they are only concerned to give you that required hydration to prevent dryness and also would be such that you need not reapply very very often.

Having said that, in my list below, you might not find some of the very popular lip balms from the market here, as, trust me, the majority was a big fail for me. What I have listed below is purely based on what I have used and has suited me really well.

Here you go:

Vaadi Herbals Lip Balm with Orange & Shea Butter:

The most budget-friendly, yet super effective lip balm is this one! They have multiple variants and I guess this orange variant is the cheapest of the lot. The orange variant is not with any tint and gives excellent moisturization on budget. A great option for school/college kids or people on a budget.

Moisturization: 4.5/5

Reapplication: Stays pretty long (near to 3-4 hours)

Vaseline Lip Tins-Original care:

I am sure at some point in time or other in your life you have definitely tried the petroleum jelly. That honestly, absolutely doesn’t work for me. But then, these new launches of lip tins are a wonder! Provides great moisturization, but the only issue is the packaging! Sometimes I feel I might break my nail to open the box.

Moisturization: 4.5/5

Reapplication: Stays pretty long (near to 5-6 hours)

Juicy Chemistry Blood Orange & Rosehip Organic Lip Balm:

Buy from here

One of the very hyped lip balms, which trust me, is worth the hype. Do buy it when JC is running a sale, and thank me later! This also is known for helping pigmentation of lips, but honestly, I am not a victim of lip pigmentation so cannot comment on that front.

Moisturization: 5/5

Reapplication: Stays pretty long (near to 5-6 hours)

Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Lip Balm:

Buy from here

If you are the one who is quite often exposed to the sun, this one is for you! This has SPF 15 and hence provides sun protection along with required moisturization.

Moisturization: 4/5

Reapplication: Stays pretty long (near to 2-3 hours)

Earth Rhythm Lip Masque:

Buy from here

A bit on the sticky side, but this is a gem in itself. Apply this at night before you go to bed and trust me your next day will be a good lip day.

Moisturization: 5/5

Reapplication: Stays pretty long (near to 7-8 hours)

VILVAH Grapefruit Lip Balm:

Buy from here

I am not a person who likes tinted lip balms, but this one is an exception. Comes with a mild pinkish tint and gives amazing moisturization to lips.

Moisturization: 5/5

Reapplication: Stays pretty long (near to 5-6 hours)

LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask Berry:

Buy from here

Would be an injustice to the whole lip care game if I don’t mention this beauty! A little heavy on the pocket, but this wonder is worth the money and also it goes a long way!

Moisturization: 5/5

Reapplication: Stays pretty long (near to 8-9 hours)

Okay, now that you know my list of favorites and also those which worked really well for me, do pick any of these, and thank me later!
